Additional Catalogs
 

It is possible to add a text file catalog to Cartes du Ciel from the Catalog Selection Menu

The following files are example including data and catalog field definition. 
Unzip the file to the same directory where you install the software, be sure to preserve the directory structure (check "Use folder name" in Winzip). 
Each catalog reside in its own directory in the path cat\externes\catalog_name
From the Catalog Selection Menu select the "Magnitude" or "Size" tab depending if you use a stars or nebulae catalog. Right click with the mouse to a blank line, select "Open catalog definition" and open the corresponding .cdm or .cds file from its directory.
Check the box "Show this catalog".
