- LEDs 3V3, 1V8 & RF are power indicators.
- LED USB indicates USB communications.
- LED RX indicates receiving operation.
- LED TX indicates transmit operation.
- Reset button reboots the micro controller.
- DFU is used to fix a bad firmware load.
- DFU firmware is in ROM.
- Antenna is normal SMA connector and is not compatible with RP SMA connectors used for WiFy equipment.
- Always have an antenna connected.
- Clock in and out is 10 MHz 3.3 V square wave signal.
- libhackrf is a library to communicate to other software like GNU Radio.
- hackers-tools provides command line tools to work with the HackRF One.

- Data transfer is two signed 8-bit numbers (
I/Q sampling data
). If the sample rate is 10 MS/s, the USB date rate is 20 MegBytes/s.
- RF amplifier is on or off, when on ~14 dB gain. Setting >10 dB turns amp on.
